The football team initially joined the Cheltenham League, originally in Division Five, and progressed through the divisions until they joined the Hellenic League in 1986. In 1999-00 they were champions of Division One but were only able to manage two seasons in the Premier Division before being relegated back to Division One West, where they remained until they won promotion back to the Premier Division in 2011.
